What type of water should I use to mist my animals with?

The best type of water to mist and water your plants/animals with is reverse osmosis (RO) water. An RO system can be purchased online or at many home improvement stores and is an excellent investment. Using water from your tap is generally safe for plants and animals but often leaves a mineral residue which can be difficult or impossible to remove later. Do not use distilled water as this can be detrimental to the osmotic balance to your pets.
